Hello!
Thank you for interest in my photography! I am a mother of two young children and happily married to my husband for over 9 years.
I discovered my passion for photography back in college many moons ago when I took a photography class and through the years I have continued to learn through trial and error.
I specialize in maternity, newborn and children’s photos. I love capturing those special moments in time that seem to fly by so quickly.
Philosophy
I am not a fan of sitting people in front of a background and telling them to give me a fake smile. I love photographing people in their element and where they are comfortable. This means in their home or a special outdoor location. I use natural and available light only.
Studio
At this time, I do not have a studio location. Instead, I make my clients’ homes my studio. This makes the photos unique to each client. I also use parks and gardens or the client’s yard as my outdoor studio.
Session Time
Each session lasts as long as it takes to get good shots taken. Especially when I am doing a shoot with newborns and very young children, there will be time allowed for nursing, cuddling and regrouping. Photo shoots with older children may not take as long, but are certainly not rushed and will last as long as it takes to make sure there are some great shots to work with. I also do family photos and senior portraits and use the same concept in photographing either one.
Fees & Copyright
Each session fee includes my time, all retouching of the photos and a CD of the full resolution photos. This means you get to print whatever you like and use the photos however you like! By your having possession of the full resolution photos you have the printing rights to those photos. You may not use the photos for any photography contest or claim the photos as your own. You may not alter the photos in any way. I retain the right to use the photos in any advertising I so choose. I will not sell the photos of my client’s without a model release form signed by the client or client’s parents. (i.e. in magazines, etc.)
Prices are subject to change at any time. However, I strive to make photographs of your loved ones affordable.
